What hides in the dark
UV ink sleeps in daylight. Kill the lights and it wakes up: moons, flames and spirits burning violet under the blacklight.

Andrew Lazo
Laredo tattoo artist, illustrator and painter. Posting finished work since 2019, first as Huaxtek Ink and now under his own roof at Wasted Youth.
He draws most of what he tattoos, from Junji Ito tributes to sacred hearts, and isn't scared of an 11-hour day to finish a piece in one go.

Where is Wasted Youth Tattoos?
The studio is at 608 Gale, Suite 4 in Laredo, Texas. It is a private, appointment-only Laredo tattoo shop, so text or send a request before you come by.
Do you take walk-ins?
No. Every tattoo is by appointment so each client gets the artist and the room to themselves. Send a request through the booking page or call or text (956) 401-3517.
How much does a tattoo cost in Laredo?
Price depends on size, placement and detail. Send your idea, placement and rough size and you will get a quote before anything is booked.
Do you do UV (blacklight) tattoos?
Yes. UV ink glows under blacklight and stays subtle in daylight. See the UV page for finished pieces, and mention UV in your request.
Can you cover up an old tattoo?
Yes. Cover-ups and reworks are a big part of the work here, many finished in one session. Send a clear photo of the old tattoo with your request.
Do I need my own design?
No. Bring references, a character, a feeling or a rough sketch. Andrew draws custom designs, and some pieces are done freehand right on the skin.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Send your request in English or Spanish. This whole site is available in Spanish too.
How old do I need to be?
You must be 18 or older with a valid government photo ID.
I live in Nuevo Laredo or out of town. Can I still book?
Yes. Clients come from across Laredo, Webb County and the border area. Send your request and plan the date around your trip; long single sessions are available for big pieces.
